The company was founded in 1992, but our professional experience has a longer history as the company’s founder and owner, Tamás Kondorosi has been working as a tile stove constructor since the beginning of the 1970’s. Pottery and the stove-setter profession has been a tradition in our family through several generations. Instead of providing standardized types, our company builds uniquely designed tile stoves, fireplaces and so-called tiled fireplace stoves. After the long and dreary years - when tile stoves were considered no more than simple ugly brown or yellow boxes, and everybody was longing to change them to a convector, throwing out the most valuable and erudite handicrafts - tile stoves have finally begun to regain their good old reputation and become more and more popular. Tile stoves have high capacity of heat-retaining and can be also used as primary heaters and can be built in the most versatile and unique forms. Tiles are also available today in a wide range, variations on color, decoration and gloss (glossy, semi-matte, matte and silky gloss) are limitless. Those who want to build a tile stove today, do not have to live without enjoying the view of the fire either. In recent years we have constructed tile stoves almost exclusively with great glass doors through which fire is visible and enjoyable. We provide a wide range of glass fronted burners most versatile in types and power, of both Hungarian and foreign manufactures. Application of a burner working with hot water provides heating to distant, smaller rooms too. Kondorosi & Co. also designs and constructs beehive ovens and outdoor grills. Our company’s services are available as well as in and outside of Budapest. We provide long-term guarantee on our services and on the built-in materials as well. All visitors are welcome on appointment in our private showroom (Budapest, H-1114, Alabástrom street 41.) where, besides fully constructed stoves and fireplaces you can also see glass fronted burners and tile samples in more than 50 colors. |
